Well,
if you're here it's because you want to know a little more about me. Thanks.
As far as this goes, I'm probably like most of you reading this...started
cross-dressing at an early age, figured I was strange and different, wondered
if I was gay (or bi-), imagined being a GG, and all of the other thoughts
we've all had. I also got married (like most of you) and still have this
part of my life hidden away. The guilty feelings still persist...but so
does the desire to .... you know ;)
My
wife knows (or at least suspects) that I get some kind of enjoyment from
dressing in women's clothes. I don't think she knows or appreciates the
extent that I do. How do I explain the comfort and pleasure I derive from
expressing my feminine part?
As
far as sexuality, I love women -- especially my wife. I don't have any
desire to be with a man. Does that make me a lesbian of sorts? Oh well...
So...who
is Amandatti Kapella? The name itself is rather unusual. I can't say that
it particualarly means anything, but it came to me and I thought it sounded
pretty cool. Its middle-Eastern flavour reflects my darker complexion.
It also reflects my exotic nature, my introspective self, and my desire
for perfection -- at least the pursuit of perfection.
For
a living, I am an Aerospace consultant. Almost like a rocket scientist.
I'm a musician: keyboards, guitar, drums, and vocals. I love the blues!
In fact, I play in a band specializing in classic rock and blues. Maybe
one day I'll play en femme just to see how the crowd reacts to our band
with a female front.
I'm
also a certified ski instructor and provide instruction to the disabled
community. I've doing that as a volunteer since 1988. Such a rewarding
activity I can't see ever giving it up. I don't teach en femme, so don't
look for me anywhere. That will certainly take me a while to build that
courage up!

Well,
I built up the courage to tell my wife about me. What an experience. I
feel even closer to her than before. Love is certainly a wonderful thing
and my wife has shown me unquestioned love and devotion. Sure, she doesn't
completely understand...especially the bit about wanting to wear women's
clothes, but she recognizes that I have a need to express my femininity
in those ways.
This
month, I also went to Carla's Salon in San Jose, California. Carla is
a wonderful individual who caters to the T*community. I told her this
was my first time in public and she gently worked with me to help me feel
comfortable...even introducing me to the other girls who frequent her
salon. I love the atmosphere and friendship she and all of the other girls
have shown me! Here's a picture of Janey, Carla, and Valerie. Big hugs
to Valerie as she helped me to focus my attention on understanding the
entire spectrum of gender and that fact that we humans each occupy a spread
across the range.

This
journey keeps on going! My wife and I attended the Carousel Ball in Denver.
BJ's has hosted the Ball for the past 15 years raising over $300,000 for
the Colorado Aids Project. This year's event was held at the Gothic Theater
and boasted scores of acts for the entertainment of the audience. They
raised in excess of $25,000 this year alone!
This
formal affair certainly saw its share of elaborate gowns. Not to be outdone,
my wife and I decided to dress to the nines! You can see us on this month's
picture page. But, just as an appetizer.....here
is a small sample...
Anyway,
thanks for wondering. Here are a few details about me:
