January 2002

I spent part of the end of the year in England, so I haven't updated too much. After returning, going through the Christmas and New Year activities, I ventured south to Houston ... accompanying the Imperial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire as it pays respect to the Houston Court and it's coronation of a new monarch.

I had a great time. Everyone was wonderful...even went shopping in the garment district and helped the Houston economy.

February 2002

Another opportunity to share our stories occured at the Front Range Community College. A few of us were invited (again) to present a brief seminar on Transgender Current Events and Issues. The young minds were inquisitive and very supportive of who and what we are. I hope they all take something away that is positive for the rest of their lives.

March - September 2002

OK...so I'm cheating a bit by grouping these together into one section. But my summer has been busy. I continued my teaching sessions at the National Disabled Winter Sports Clinic, continued with additional seminars at Front Range Community College and Colorado State University. Those have been a wonderful experience for me and, I hope, an enlightening one for the students.

Gold Rush 2002 was a very nice event. I met a lot of new folks just figuring our what this is about. Also, our local Tri-Ess group (TSK) is facilitating the CD night for the Gender Identity Center. This is a significant move and one we hope will become a positive draw for other CDs.

October 2002

This month sees our second annual dinner -- celebrating our Chapter's Charter. We were bestowed Flagship again for the second year. What a great honor. I also started work on a friend's website where she is developing a set of services for the transgendered community. One of the services is a transformation....and I was the guineau-pig. I'll have more on that later.
