July 2001

A fairly quiet month. Not a lot to report. I went with some new girls shopping the various malls in town. It was quite a treat for me since I got to be the "Big Sister" and show them the ropes! It feels good to help them discover themselves and help myself by being more comfortable with who I am.

August 2001

Wow! The end of my first year of being out and about. My wife and I are still dealing with various aspects of this...most me trying to deal with uneasiness of being blended person. We've been to a number of events and outings. Both of us helping others address this whole phenomenon. It's been a true "roller coaster" ride, but I think we are dealing with it in a positive and productive way.

September 2001

Birthday month for me...a Virgo. Another relatively quiet month. I'd been backing off of work...retiring, as it were. Still consulting to various places and having fun. I've been spending most of my time trying to understand the events of the 11th. It doesn't make sense to me...but I understand where the terrorists believe they have motivation. I don't happen to agree. Living here and now makes me appreciate the freedoms we have and those who have fought, and died, to preserve them for us.

October 2001

Tau Sigma Kappa celebrates the signing of its Charter as a full-fledged chapter of Tri-Ess. Jane Ellen Fairfax visited us, provided a very eloquent speech, and congratulated us on our progress. The month saw a few new members to the group and several new outings. We also performed an outreach to Front Range Community College where we served on a panel for two Sociology classes. It was certainly an eye-opening experience -- for them as well as us!

November 2001

Halloween marked the end of October, the first full moon on that day in twenty years, and a real advancement in my look (if I do say so myself)! I loved my costume and tried for a more glamorous "day-evening" look. I enjoyed every minute! Check out that photo page. Also, I continued my outreach at Front Range Community College. I'll tell you more later.
