April 2001

So...April is here and I'm still enjoying and growing. This month I attended the Coronation for the Imperial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire. What a grand experience. I tried my "new hair" that I bought at a wig shop....it's certainly cute, but I still prefer my own hair. I also skied en femme (OK, that was last month) and got some very approving looks from a variety of people. Some questioning one from others. Oh well, you can't please them all! But the Hawaiian theme just seemed to fit me perfectly! Ah well....there it is.

 

May 2001

Tau Sigma Kappa got an opportunity to be interviewed by a local talk show host, Peter Boyles. I was invited as one of the Transgendered community. What an experience! There were six of us: two CD's, two pre-op TS's, one post-op TS, one GG. Peter mistook me as the female PhD therapist who would help to explain all of this. I was beside myself and grinning from ear to ear. Peter made my whole month!

 

 

 

 

June 2001

The naughty side of me caught up and made me buy a really sleazy outfit. A very short skirt and waist length jacket. All in vinyl. Also....6" heels! The set makes me really feel like a woman! Wow...and I think I look great in it, too. This month, I also attended the Denver PrideFest and saw Dame Edna in concert. What great experiences those were. It was hot at PrideFest and it was a real challenge to keep cool. There were a few people who found some ingenious ways to do that...can't show you any of those pictures...it would shut me down ;-)

I got my hair done for the Dame Edna show. It's always a neat experience to be pampered! Here's a little pic of me after I returned from the show.
